After being in the headlines for a few days, the movie Param Sundari Review has finally hit theaters. Despite being marketed as a romantic comedy, this Janhvi Kapoor and Sidharth Malhotra film fell short of the audience’s expectations. Sachin-Jigar assumed responsibility for the music at the same time. The movie’s song Pardesiya is gaining popularity among viewers and is reportedly evocative of the Sonu Nigam period. The remaining tunes, though, won’t stick in your memory for too long.

Why did the formula of romantic comedy not work

In Hindi cinema, romantic comedies have a long tradition. This genre reached new heights thanks to movies like Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania, Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na, and Kuch Kuch Hota Hai. However, Param Sundari was unable to reach this level. Both the humorous timing and Sidharth Malhotra’s performance were lacking. However, as Param’s father, Sanjay Kapoor did make several sequences funny, but he also didn’t elevate the movie.

Audience expectations and question of the future

These days, viewers are searching for movies that will both emotionally connect with them and provide just the appropriate amount of amusement.
