Nothing Ear 3: Nothing launched its new TWS earphone in the global market. This earphone is specially designed for audio quality and smart features. Along with the launch, the company also gave information about its price, availability and features. Nothing Ear 3 includes a new super mic feature and up to 45dB of real-time active noise cancellation (ANC), making it great for music and calling.

Nothing Ear 3 Price and Availability

Nothing Ear 3 is priced at GBP 179 (approximately ₹21,500). It is available for EUR 179 (₹18,700) in Europe and $179 (₹15,800) in the US. It comes in black and white color options. The company has started global pre-orders from September 18 through its website and partner stores. While the open sale will start from September 25 in select markets. The launch date in India has not been announced by the company yet, but it is expected to be introduced in the Indian market soon.

Super mic feature and voice recording

Nothing Ear 3’s charging case comes with the new Super Mic feature, which offers up to 95dB of noise cancellation. It can be activated through Talk button. With the help of this feature, users can record voice notes directly from the case. Automatic transcription is only available on phones that support Nothing OS. Each earbud has three directional microphones and a bone-conduction voice pick-up unit, which makes calling and voice recording clear.

45dB Real-time Active Noise Cancellation (ANC)

Nothing Ear 3 features real-time active noise cancellation, which blocks noise up to 45dB. It adjusts to the environment every 600 milliseconds and checks the fitting for leakage every 1,875 milliseconds. This feature gives the user a great experience of listening to music in crowded areas or in airplanes. Additionally, AI noise cancellation reduces wind noise by up to 25dB.

Audio quality and drivers

Ear 3 has 12mm dynamic drivers, whose patterned diaphragm increases the audio radiation area by 20%. This increases bass by 4–6dB and treble by 4dB. This means mids and highs will be clearer and richer, and a wider soundstage will be achieved.

Connectivity and smart features

Nothing Ear 3 supports Bluetooth 5.4 and LDAC, which is great for high-resolution audio. Its low latency is less than 120ms, which is suitable for gaming and video streaming. It also pairs easily with Fast Pair on Android, Swift Pair on Windows and iOS devices. Users can customize Essential Space and ChatGPT features through Nothing X App.

Design and water resistance

The design of Nothing Ear 3 is sleek and ergonomic. It is dust and splash resistant with an IP54 rating. Black and white color options make it stylish and practical. It is also considered to be comfortable for long periods of use.
