The wait is finally over. Hyundai has introduced the all-new Hyundai Venue 2025 in India, and it’s already making waves in the compact SUV market. Starting at ₹7.90 lakh (ex-showroom), the updated Venue brings a sharper look, smarter technology, and improved comfort, all wrapped in a design that feels more global than ever.

For years, the Venue has been one of Hyundai’s top-selling cars. With this Hyundai Venue 2025 upgrade, the company is clearly aiming to strengthen its position against key rivals like the Tata Nexon, Maruti Suzuki Brezza, and Kia Sonet.

A New Design Direction for the Venue

The Hyundai Venue 2025 carries forward Hyundai’s latest global design philosophy. The front end looks bold with a wider grille, new LED DRLs, and a chunkier bumper. The connected LED light strip at the back adds a touch of sophistication that helps the SUV stand out on the road.

It’s not just a cosmetic change either. The new Venue is slightly taller and wider, with a longer wheelbase that gives passengers extra room inside. Even the boot space has increased to 375 litres, making it a more practical choice for long trips and family use.

From the outside, everything about the new Venue feels more confident — the proportions, the stance, even the little details like the alloy design and body cladding. Hyundai has clearly built this version with the modern urban buyer in mind.

Inside the Cabin: Comfort Meets Technology

Open the doors, and the Hyundai Venue 2025 instantly feels more refined than its predecessor. The dashboard has been redesigned completely. Hyundai has added two large 12.3-inch displays — one for the driver’s information and another for infotainment.

Even in the lower trims, the cabin feels upmarket. The higher variants, however, take luxury a step further with features such as ventilated front seats, ambient mood lighting, and a panoramic sunroof.

Hyundai has used softer materials across the cabin, giving it a comfortable and premium vibe. The new steering wheel design, dual-tone colour scheme, and improved seat cushioning make long drives more relaxing.

On the tech front, there’s wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, multiple charging ports including USB-C, and a wireless charger. The infotainment system connects to Hyundai’s Bluelink app, allowing remote locking, engine start, and location tracking from your phone — all features that modern buyers love.

Hyundai Venue 2025 Variants, Price and Availability

Venue 2025 starts at ₹7.90 lakh with six HX variants.

For 2025, Hyundai has also changed how it names its trims. The Venue now follows the HX series — HX2, HX4, HX5, HX6T, HX8, and HX10.

  • The base HX2 variant starts at ₹7.90 lakh.
  • The mid-range HX4 and HX5 variants cost around ₹8.80 lakh and ₹9.15 lakh.
  • The top-end HX10 variant goes up to ₹13 lakh (ex-showroom).

Each variant is tuned for a different buyer profile — from first-time SUV owners to feature-seeking enthusiasts.

Powertrain and Fuel Efficiency

Under the hood, the Hyundai Venue 2025 continues to offer three tried-and-tested engines:

  • A 1.2-litre petrol engine paired with a 5-speed manual gearbox.
  • A 1.0-litre turbo-petrol engine that can be had with a 6-speed manual or a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic.
  • A 1.5-litre diesel engine, which now offers both manual and torque converter automatic options.

When it comes to mileage, Hyundai’s numbers remain impressive.
The 1.2-litre petrol engine delivers up to 18.05 km/l, while the turbo-petrol variant offers around 20 km/l when paired with the DCT gearbox. The diesel version continues to be the economy champion, returning up to 20.99 km/l.

These figures make the Venue one of the most balanced options in its category — efficient yet powerful enough for daily use and highway runs.

Smarter Safety With ADAS

Safety has been one of Hyundai’s top priorities in this update. The Hyundai Venue 2025 now comes with six airbags as standard, which is a big step forward.

What’s more, higher variants include Level 2 ADAS features — such as Smart Cruise Control, Forward Collision Warning, Lane Keep Assist, Blind Spot View Monitor, and Parking Collision Avoidance. These technologies work quietly in the background, helping prevent accidents and giving drivers more confidence on long journeys.

For a compact SUV in this price range, that’s an impressive safety package.

Venue N Line: Sportier and Sharper

For those who like a little more thrill, Hyundai has brought back the Venue N Line. It stands out with red highlights on the bumpers and roof rails, unique alloy wheels, and a dual-tip exhaust that gives it a sporty note.

The N Line’s cabin gets an exclusive black-and-red interior theme, metal pedals, and N-badged seats. Power comes from the same 1.0-litre turbo petrol engine, tuned for a slightly sportier feel. It’s available with both a 6-speed manual and a 7-speed DCT transmission.

Made in India, For the World

Hyundai manufactures the Venue in India, and this 2025 version will be exported to more than 30 international markets. The Venue has already sold over 7 lakh units in India since its launch in 2019, and the new generation is expected to boost that figure even higher.

Tarun Garg, COO of Hyundai Motor India, shared during the launch that by 2030, the company plans to make SUVs and MPVs account for 82% of its total sales, with India playing a central role in global exports.
