An IMD official claims that the monsoon and western disturbance are to blame for the heavy rain. More rain is expected in these places over the following 24 hours, according to the warning that was issued at 2:00 PM on Tuesday. Over the weather news past 24 hours, 140 mm of rain has fallen in the districts of Kathua and Samba in various regions of Jammu and Kashmir.
