BGMI Bans: Cheating has always been a major problem in the online gaming industry. particularly when a player aspires to get better by working hard, yet some players ruin the game by using shortcuts. In this regard, Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI) has consistently adopted a firm stance. Krafton has now made it abundantly evident that cheaters have no place in the game. More than 3 lakh accounts were BGMI Bans in July 2025, demonstrating that fair gameplay is their top focus.

BGMI’s biggest action so far

In July 2025, BGMI Bans permanently 3,46,636 accounts. This number alone illustrates the rate of growth in the number of hackers and cheaters. The unique aspect is that players of all skill levels have been subject to these bans. Regardless of a player’s rank Bronze or Conqueror Krafton immediately canceled their account if cheating was discovered.

Players of every rank were targeted

Players of various rankings and tiers were listed on this ban list, according to the BGMI report. While several cheaters were also discovered at the Gold and Platinum ranks, approximately 17.3% of the accounts with the Bronze rank were deleted. High ratings like Ace and Crown were prohibited as well. This demonstrates that hacking was a widespread issue at the highest level as well, not just among novice players.

Strictness on cheating content too

BGMI has taken action against content makers who shared cheating-related films, pictures, and clips in addition to gaming accounts. A total of 1884 materials, including reels, pictures, and videos, were deleted in July 2025. For novice gamers who frequently attempt to cheat by seeing such stuff, this step proved crucial. Krafton is making an effort to steer the gaming community in the right way with this move.

The biggest reasons for hacking

According to BGMI, the players that were banned used a variety of hacking techniques. These included the use of cheating software, which was detected in almost 80% of the cases, and modifications to game data. In addition, techniques like the wall hack and anti-am hack were employed. All of this undermines the game’s fairness and detracts from the experience of players who play the game honestly.

Krafton’s strict message

Additionally, the creators have made it clear that no Account Ban without first being verified. Every case and report is thoroughly examined before any action is taken. This merely indicates that a player who has been banned cannot play the game again. Krafton has demonstrated once more that their goal is to establish a secure and equitable gaming environment.
