For the thousands of Madhya Pradesh sisters, this is a very special time. Happiness naturally permeates the family and smiles appear on everyone’s faces whenever a sister receives the amount of the scheme. The goal of the Ladli Behna Yojana 2025 has been to give women more financial stability and self-assurance. The sisters now have a new hope after Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav made yet another significant declaration.
Big announcement of CM Mohan Yadav

At the recent Rakhi celebration in Bhopal’s Narela assembly constituency, Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav announced that Ladli sisters would receive ₹1500 per month from Bhai Dooj. In addition, he said that after Diwali, the sisters who have not yet been included in this Ladli Behna Yojana program will be added. In the program, the CM promised that he would personally see to it that no sister was denied the advantages of this program. Women have found his declaration to be quite encouraging.
Start of the scheme and increased amount
In May 2023, former Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan launched this initiative. Initially, married women between the ages of 21 and 60 were to get ₹1000 each month under the initiative. Following this, on Rakshabandhan 2023, this sum was raised to ₹ 1250 each month. Since then, this sum has been credited to the sisters’ account each month. The latest declaration from Bhai Dooj states that this sum will now be ₹1500 per month, which will significantly bolster the financial assistance provided to women.
Which sisters are eligible
The Government Scheme’s Ladli Behna Yojana 2025 guidelines state that married women who were born between January 1, 1963, and January 1, 2000, are eligible to apply. In other words, this Ladli Behna Yojana program directly benefits thousands of women and reaches a sizable portion of the state’s population. This program has made a significant contribution to women’s economic independence, enabling them to better satisfy their personal and familial requirements.
Who will not get the benefit

Some sisters, though, will not benefit from this Ladli Behna Yojana 2025 plan. A woman will not be eligible for the program if she or any family members pay income taxes. Likewise, a joint family that owns more than five acres of agricultural land will not gain from it either. The madhya pradesh government wants to truly alter the lives of the economically disadvantaged and poor women by extending the benefits of this program to them.
