Though they occasionally lose themselves in their profundity, stories that explore intense emotions always have a profound emotional impact. One such attempt is the film 8 Vasantalu, directed by Phanindra Narsetty and is a heartfelt poem that falls short of the intellect.
Shuddhi, A character who wants to set an example

Shuddhi Ayodhya, the 8 Vasantalu film’s protagonist, is a young poet who exudes passion, understanding, and confidence. She possesses both physical strength and the ability to battle verbally. This ‘perfection’, however, can make her character unreal. She consistently reaches new heights of idealism despite the audience’s attempts to relate to her.
The story has ideas, but lacks soul
The 8 Vasantalu movie has a lot to say on women’s rights, self-respect, social pressure, and gender discrimination. However, the way all of this is stated becomes so “showpiece” that it doesn’t seem real. The discussions lack the simplicity of everyday living; instead, each statement reads like a book sermon.
The scenes are beautiful, but there is no connection to them
The cinematography of the 8 Vasantalu film is superb. The mist of Ooty, the peace of the Taj Mahal and the intensity of Varanasi make the scene wonderful. But these beautiful scenes fail to add emotional depth to the story. There is a lot of symbolism, but there is no warmth of the soul in them.
Good acting, but incomplete music

While Ananthikha Sanilkumar’s acting is remarkable, there are moments when her maturity comes across as forced. The heavy speech prevents Hanu Reddy and Ravi Duggirala from being authentic in their portrayals of their characters. There should be more music in the 8 Vasantalu movie, even though the two songs that are included are heartfelt.
